As voted on by our users, we at the unofficial Subeta discord "SB After Hours" are holding a server mascot art contest! Anyone is free to join in on the action, and skill levels of all kinds are welcome. Yes, there will be prizes. Let's get started![/size]
How will this work?
In this thread, participants will submit their entries in this format:
-image (optional, encouraged) -description (optional. keep this detailed & short) -about the mascot: personality traits, backstory, fun stuff, etc. keep this short.
NOTE: Winners should be determined through ideas alone and not artistic ability. We will accept written descriptions (kept short, but easy to read and understand) but it's highly encouraged users create a rough idea of what their mascot looks like, whether it be in paint, gimp, etc.
When?
Submissions will be accepted now to 11:59 pm on July 31st.
After submissions are closed, voting will begin on the next day and be open for one week, ending on 11:59 pm on August 7th.
Winners will then be announced within a few days!
Prizes!
First place - A free full color pet overlay from SAH co-admin ! (That's a $40 value!)

Second place - A free simple sketch of any character of your choice by me. (That's a ??? value!) For a look at some of my art you can visit my twitter
Third place - Any item up to 40mil sp of your choosing. Can be split into multiple items but the total value cannot exceed the limit.
Rules and Terms
- One submission per user.
- One vote per user.
- Submissions and Voting are open to SAH server members only. (Yes, you may join for the contest. You are not obligated to stick around afterward. However, if you win and leave the server, understand that your design is the property of the server owners.)
- Mascots can be human, robot, stuffed animal, whatever! You are not limited to pets/animals.
- Ideally, there should be 4 differences between your mascot and an already existing subeta pet (if a pet is used as a base) to make it unique.
- Users found using stolen art or assets in their submission will be removed from the contest.
- By entering the contest, you agree to the rules and terms above.

this is lovebug and she's a very short caterkiller breed zombie who's sweet as sugar, hates the sunlight, and just wants to make friends and make people smile, despite the fact that she's a zombie and her diet probably gross a lot of folks out. She can't remember her name before becoming infected but despite this, is quite a bubbly critter.

-it is harmless
-it looks angry
-it probably is constantly bitching
-it has bad skin

-it is basically a circle with legs, so it's easy to draw
-it's not intimidating even though it's got RBF

I figured his hat could be changeable during holidays. Like a Santa hat for Christmas, or just different, holiday-themed designs on his bandana.
